Saturday 5th April was a day to remember for National Horseracing College (NHC) graduate Connor Beasley.
Connor, 30, claimed it to be “the best day of my career”, according to his interview with the Racing Post after he took home honours in not one but two Group 1 races at Meydan, Dubai, during the world-famous Dubai World Cup night, his only two rides of the night.
Connor produced a surprising result when partnering outsider DARK SAFFRON to win the Group 1 Dubai Golden Shaheen, followed by a win in the Group 1 Arabian race, the Dubai Kahayla Classic, partnering FIRST CLASSS, racing totalling $3m in prize money.
Following completion of the Level 2 Equine Groom Apprenticeship through the NHC in 2013, Connor has achieved over 780 winners in the UK and across the globe to date.
