Years of knowledge to pass to the next generation
As David Griffiths announces his retirement from training racehorses, his knowledge and skills gained over a lengthy career will now be passed onto the next generation of Racing Staff and Jockeys, as he joins the National Horseracing College (NHC) as a Training Instructor.
With success not only as a flat jockey riding 64 career winners, but a racehorse trainer for 14 years and winning some of the most sought after Group 2, Group 3 and Listed races in Britain and Ireland, we are delighted to welcome David Griffiths to join the team.
His knowledge will be passed to learners who are undertaking the 12-week residential Foundation Course at the NHC, who will go on to complete apprenticeships and become Racing Grooms and some even jockeys. Our fantastic team of Training Instructors all have a strong connection with the horseracing industry, with the majority having worked in racing yards, travelled the world with racehorses and have had careers as jockeys.
At the National Horseracing College, we are dedicated to providing a high level of training to prepare people for employment in the horseracing industry. Find out more about the 12-week residential Foundation Course https://bit.ly/12weekFoundationCourse
