During the penultimate week of the 12-week, residential Foundation Course our learners take part in the Workplace Challenge Day. A day where our Roving Tutors observe, mentor and assess the learners during the entire day. Today was Workplace Challenge Day for group 20.09 and our learners once again rose to the occasion. A big well done to the ‘Best Turned Out’ winner Ross with Coombe Hill. All horses looked fabulous well done to all. The overall winner of the day was Josh who showed his overall workplace skills throughout the day, leading the string on the gallops showing good awareness and looking after others. Receptive to feedback and eager to learn, a great team player. Samantha Trainor, NHC Roving Tutor said “You all did fantastically, a lovely group, all with bright futures. Keep up the good work and I’ll see some of you on your placements soon. I loved doing the standing for appearance with you my favourite bit. The horses did you and NHC proud”.
