And that’s how you win the Wokingham Stakes (Heritage Handicap) at Royal Ascot!
The rider on the simulator in this video wasn’t born when this race took place back in 2000 but no matter how many years go by the manner in which the winner came between a field of 29 horses to get up to win on the line is seriously impressive. The jockey wearing the head-cam is Richard Hughes and the horse Harmonic Way.
Past race footage is invaluable during the training we deliver. The rider in this video is attending our Apprentice Jockey Pre-Licence Assessment Course.
Who can name the two National Horseracing College graduates who have won the prestigious Wokingham Stakes at Royal Ascot during the last decade? Give yourself an extra pat on the back if you can name the year in which they won too.
