The NHC delighted to be awarded Employer Recognition Scheme GOLD Award 2024

We’re proud to be an employer who is recognised by the Armed Forces Covenant, supporting those who serve or who have served, and their families by offering training or employment, and we are extremely proud to have recently been granted the 2024 Employer Recognition Scheme GOLD Award. Only 25 entities have achieved the GOLD award across the Yorkshire and the Humber region since the Employer Recognition Scheme began in 2015.

The National Horseracing College signed the Armed Forces Covenant in 2021 and we were delighted to be awarded the Employer Recognition Award silver award the following year.

The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise from the nation that those who serve or have served in the armed forces, and their families, are treated fairly.

Colonel (Retd) Stephen Padgett OBE, Chief Executive of the National Horseracing College (NHC) said: “𝘛𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘦𝘴, 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘧𝘧, 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘕𝘏𝘊 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘨𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘖𝘓𝘋 𝘈𝘞𝘈𝘙𝘋 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘔𝘰𝘋’𝘴 𝘌𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘰𝘺𝘦𝘳 𝘙𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘚𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘮𝘦.
