The death has been announced of Stancee Wedd, whose late husband Colin was chairman of the Northern Racing College (now National Horseracing College) from its foundation in 1984 until 2010.
Stancee, who was 90 and died in a Suffolk care home after a lengthy illness, was a staunch supporter of the College before her husband’s death in January 2020. She served on the Friends of the NRC committee and was one of the founders of the Riding for the Disabled Association facility at the College’s Rossington Hall site.
Trustees of and staff at the NHC send their condolences to Stancee’s family and friends.
