Learning Support Assistant (Term Time Only) – £7,038 (17½-hours per week)
The National Horseracing College seeks to employ a Learning Support Assistant to join its enthusiastic, vibrant and hardworking team. The successful applicant would support learners on our Doncaster Equine College courses. Located in the scenic grounds of a private estate near Doncaster, we achieved Ofsted Grade 2 in 2016. The position is term time only and fixed until May 2019.
To be selected for this interesting, challenging role, you must have excellent written as well as verbal communication skills. Experience of working with young people in an FE setting in essential, as is a knowledge and understanding of classroom roles and responsibilities. Basic horse husbandary skills will be needed, in a supporting role, for example assisting with handling the horses, tacking up, and grooming on a daily basis. A Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in schools is desirable.

Hours of work: 17½ per week. The salary is £7,038 per annum, and a generous holiday entitlement, and free membership of our Westfield Health Foresight Plan.
