Rachel’s journey into racing began just under two years ago when she attended the NHC Foundation Course in 2016. Following her 12 weeks stint with us, she undertook a 6-week work placement with BHA Jockey Coach and Racehorse Trainer, Tim Reed – she never left!
Under his careful guidance Rachel has flourished, and last week she attended a two-day Category Amateur Riders Course, which she passed with flying colours, kick-starting her application to be an amateur jockey. We are all very proud. Foundation course to racetrack in under two years – it can be done!
