The Mondialiste Leger Legends Race is the only British charity race for ex-professional jockeys. This year the race will take place on Wednesday 8th September, the opening day of the St Leger Festival at Doncaster Racecourse and is kindly sponsored by Elwick Stud.
The race, which was first run in 2010, raises money for both the National Horseracing College and IJF’s Jack Berry House. The race has attracted the likes of Joseph O’Brien, Sir AP McCoy OBE, Julie Krone, Mick Kinane, Timmy Murphy and Kieren Fallon.
The funds for NHC are being directed towards additional learner accommodation which is a necessary development for NHC to maximise the number of trained stable staff it can provide for the industry, as well as accommodating fee-paying course attendees on-site.
Don’t miss the action on Wednesday 8th September at 14:50 at Doncaster Racecourse.
