Based in Newmarket at Freemason Lodge, home to an unprecedented number of Group/Graded/Listed flat horses trained by Sir Michael Stoute.
Over the last 21 years James has worked his way up from racing groom to travelling head groom and for the last six years has held the title, Head Groom/Assistant Trainer.
James ensures all the horses in his care receive the very best and in turn they perform at their very best on the racecourse. He leads by example and offers unwavering support to younger and less experienced members of staff.
