Mark was born in Doncaster, lived there all his life.
Mark worked for the National Coal Board at Yorkshire Main Colliery from leaving school, then worked in the building trade from 1985 with his father. He was then self employed from 1991 until joining the NHC.
Mark enjoys a round of golf and is a member at The Lincolnshire Golf Club.
