Roving Tutor
Malc has worked in the racing industry since 1984. Over the years he has worked for several top trainers of their time, starting his career with Clive Brittain when the mighty Pebbles was in training. Malc has been very lucky in his time in the game and has had the opportunity and responsibility of riding some top class horses. Malc has held various positions in the industry from stable hand all the way through to Assistant trainer. Malc has been associated with the NHC for many years starting out as an Instructor and working up to Training Manager, before leaving to pursue other interests.
Malc has been back at NHC as a Roving Tutor since 2021.
Malc holds his Level 3 in Racehorse care and Management, Assessing and IQA qualifications, Level 3 Management, IOSH, and has his Cert-ED.
